The Mattes long wool girth cover will provide maximum protection for your horse in the girthing area. This girth cover opens along its length for your straight girth to be inserted easily and will accomodate girths upto a maximum of 14cm wide. The centre of this girth cover is designed for use with a martingale if required.To select the correct size, measure in centimetres from end of the core girth to the opposite end of the core girth. Do not include taper ends / buckle straps in your measurement. The Gold Range is 100% knitted fine British wool. The wool is specially treated and guaranteed not to matt or felt.
