Returns

We are happy to exchange or refund your purchase within 28 days of delivery, with goods sent back to us at your cost.

Returns or exchanges will only be accepted when returned with the following details:

  • Original invoice
  • Name and address
  • Contact telephone number
  • Reason for returning the item

You can return items in store or in the post via Royal Mail or courier

Please allow items returned by post up to 10 working days to reach us. Once your refund has been processed, it can take your card provider 3 to 5 working days to credit your account.

If an exchange is required we reserve the right to charge additional postage for resending of goods, at your request.

Goods which are returned to us as undelivered will be subject to additional postage costs for resending, at your request.

Refunds can only be processed as a reversal of the original payment method. In events where payment was by card, if you do not have the original payment card with you, the member of staff will offer you an exchange or a credit note.

Our returns/exchange policy, does not apply in the case of certain products, unless faulty:

  • Pierced earrings
  • Underwear/lingerie
  • Hats and hair accessories
  • Body protectors and air jackets

THIS POLICY DOES NOT AFFECT YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS RELATING TO FAULTY OR MISDESCRIBED GOODS, OR YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL ORDERS UNDER THE CONSUMER PROTECTION (DISTANCE SELLING) REGULATIONS.

Extra care must be taken when trying on clothing, please ensure you are not wearing any make up, fragrance or deodorant that may leave a scent or mark. We reserve the right to refuse an exchange or refund if goods are not returned in a re-saleable condition.

In accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act, we will not accept a return for any reason if it is sent back to us dirty or wet.

Send your item back to us, in its original unused condition with manufactures packaging and tags, to Thomas Irving Equestrian Superstore, Dunston Road, Chesterfield, S41 9QD, together with proof of purchase within 28 days of the date of delivery. Please include the original invoice (or copy) with your return.

The return items original packaging, including boxes, is not suitable as an outer packaging for return. Please make sure items are wrapped in further packaging before taping or sticking returns labels to them. We reserve the right to refuse a return if the original packaging is damaged.

Make sure you obtain a proof of posting from your Post Office in case your parcel takes a while to get to us.

If you think you’ve received a faulty or incorrect item or part of your order is missing then please contact our team on 01246 260336 or email info@thomasirving.co.uk, we will then advise on the best way to proceed. If you claim that the goods are defective, or not in accordance with their description, we will examine the returned goods and will notify you of your refund by post, telephone or email within a reasonable period of time. We will process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any case, within 14 days.

We regret that we are unable to issue any replacements or refunds until we have verified the fault.

Where incorrect or faulty items are verified, we will refund the cost of the return postage (via Royal Mail standard delivery) and the postage cost of any replacement goods required.
