Hat & Body Protector Fitting Services

We understanding that buying a new hat and body protector can be a daunting task for some customers but our knowledgeable staff will be able to help and guide you through the options we have available.

We pride ourselves on being able to offer a first class riding hat and body protector fitting service in store, without having to pre-book an appointment. All of our staff are highly trained and passionate about safety, therefore, if we are not satisfied with how something fits we won’t let you leave with it.

As a company, we do not sell riding hats or body protectors online. Our reasoning for this is that they are pieces of safety equipment and because we would legally have to accept them back if sold online we would have no knowledge of what could have happened to them from leaving us to arriving back with us. We recommend that all riding hats and body protectors are fitted before purchase.

Hat Fitting

During the fitting process of the riding hat, our staff may try numerous styles and sizes on you. This is so we can get the best fit for you. Every head is different and so is every hat style, which is why we offer such a wide range of styles.

We will talk to you throughout your hat fit to make sure you are happy with how the hat feels whilst explaining to you what we are looking for whilst fitting the hat. When you are comfortable in the hat and we are happy with how it fits we will ask you to walk around the store in the hat for 15 minutes to make sure you remain comfortable in the hat before committing to purchasing it.

The fitting process can sometimes take up to an hour so please allow plenty of time.

Body Protector Fitting

Whilst fitting body protectors we ask that you wear a thin layer, similar to a base layer so we can fit the body protector as close to you as possible.

During the fitting process we will talk to you about the body protector and also about how we are fitting it and what we are looking for to make sure the fit is correct for you. Unlike a riding hat, when a body protector is fitted we won’t ask you to walk around in it but we will always make sure you are happy and comfortable with the fit before committing to purchase it.

Any safety equipment is non-returnable unless it is found to be faulty.
